BAKER, Sarah

Sarah Baker a native of Kent, England was buried in the Ballaarat Old Cemetery on 7 August 1854 when she was 39 years of age. The cause of her death was dropsy. She was a married woman. Sarah is possibly the mother of Juliana Baker who died at Ballarat in 1854 aged 13 months. Juliana’s father was James Baker.

Caroline and Richard Baker arrived in the Colony of Victoria and proceeded to the Ballarat Diggings in 1854, the journey taking them six days.
