Honora Barkly and Richard Burke were sponsors at the baptism of Bridget (Ryan) and Patrick Sheedy’s daughter. Honora Sheedy was baptised at St Alipius, Ballarat on 7 October 1853. Honora may have been the wife or sister of James who was arrested after the storming of the Eureka Stockade. James was subsequently released by the authorities without charge. He is possibly the James Barclay who died in 1862 aged 36 years.
