Lydia Curnick, sister of the deceased

And in going out from the tent to play I found the deceased lying stretched on her back on the surface of the water in a Hole immediately at the back of the tent. When she at once took the body out by the arm and gave it to her elder sister who carried it into the tent where their mother was. The deceased was aged 2 years and felt quite cold and lifeless. Deponent said it could not have been more than 5 or 10 minutes before the deceased was at the tent playing with her sister.
